  While I'm on it, why *couldn't* Quirrell get the stone? Dumbledore 
said that only someone who wanted to find the stone and not use it 
could find it. Well, Quirrell-chan only wanted to find it and give it 
to Voldemort. 


I think that's just it.  Quirrel still wanted to "use" it, to win 
favor with LV.  So he saw himself giving it to LV.  Harry only wanted 
to have it and thus he saw himself receiving it.  It seems a very fine 
distinction - but very important.
