We hardly know anything of Percy. For all we know he could be a really brave 
and courageous guy. If you think about it you can't really see anyone, other 
than the Trio in Gryffindor because we hardly know anything of anyone else. 
Why are the twins Gryffindors instead of Ravenclaws or Slytherins? Why was 
Bill in Gryffindor rather than Ravenclaw? Why are Dean, Seamus, Parvati, 
Lavender, Lee, Angelina, Alicia, or Katie in Gryffindor? 

Percy has loyalty to his family, the clues are all there in the books. That 
is shown *WAY* more than ambition. And I just can't see him as a Hufflepuff 
although he has a few of their traits...

There's a good reason he's a Gryffindor. Hopeflly we'll find out in Order of 
Phoenix
