Even knowing all this (having just gone through it) I have always
believed a double lesson to mean a two hour ratehr than one hour
lesson the main reason being that even if you have DOuble science you
don't say "I'm going to Double science" because ach sicence is
studied serately so you have 1 Biology, one Chemsitry and one Phsics
lesson a week ( we also had an extra fourth lesson the rotated
between the three)
The single people have one lesson in each science and the treble
people had two lessons in each area.
