It is in the passage I quoted when this thread started.  (The thread 
was originally entitled "In Defense of McGonagall").  The idea is 
that Snape's description of the event is that he escorted Fudge and 
the dementor into the castle and to Crouch Jr.  The dementor did not 
enter on its own; Snape willingly took Fudge and the dementor inside 
the castle.
