Harry resisted Crouch's Imperius - "It's ridicilous" - he could do
this due to his having practised defences against
Dursleys' "ridicilous" orders (growing his hair, shrinking sweaters
to better size, deciding to leave just before his 3rd year etc.) He
also learned.
Voldemort is arguably stronger wizard, but...
Harry's learned to resist it (learning is one of leading
themes) and, what Voldemort wanted Harry to do was against the very
core of Harry's being. The objection is much, much stronger than with
Crouch.
As to Potters' bodies: Lily is a relative... I suppose they were
buried into a cemetery near Dursleys, but too far to reach on foot...
well, I guess Harry might know Vernon may have made a point of taking
Harry there to make Harry stop asking questions, and his imaginations
of the return of his parents. Harry may have wanted to visit the
grave - but lacked the means to get there.
Dumbledore saw how Harry defeated Quirrell. That's how and when he
figured out about Lily's love. I also assume that Harry had worn it
out, but Dumbledore figured it best not to tell Harry - to permit
Mother's Love still protect Harry's soul, wishing of a way to tell
Harry, without upsetting him too much, that the physical protection
is gone.
Then, when Harry tells him how Voldemort wanted Harry's blood to get
that 'protection'... It's solved! Harry knows he's vulnerable but did
not lose his faith AND Voldemort now mistakenly thinks he's
unvulnerable!!!
