Well, if it occurred to him . . .
Harry saw Hermione perform the Petrificus Totalus spell in their very
first year, paralyzing Neville in order to get him out of the way when
they were going to go through the trapdoor in PS/SS.
Harry could perform a souped up "Petrificus REALLY Totalus" spell on
Sirius, paralyzing everything--including his ability to breathe. And
then watch him as he slowly suffocates to death.
Yuck.
Peg,
who has killed fictional characters in the past in some rather exotic
ways but is still, all in all, a rather nice person.
