You know, I'm getting more and more intrigued by her. I started thinking 
about this, and while she does show some favor to Harry (like the 
Quidditch stuff), you never see a mention of her doing anything else 
particularly nice for him (unless I'm forgetting something - even 
something like a card any of the many times he's in the hospital wing) or 
encouraging him to come talk to her in more than a quite perfunctory 
manner.

I don't think she's Dark, but I'm getting more and more convinced that 
there's Something Else Going On that keeps her at least partially out of 
the loop on events. But darned if I could think of any actual proof for 
that thought, other than the fact that there's stuff that doesn't seem to 
quite be adding up to a whole.
