Harry Potter is JKR's creation.  If she didn't want to include "minorities" 
that is her choice, there is no law that says she HAS to.  She is writing the 
books the way she imagines them, and I agree with all the choices she's made 
so far, and I'm positive that will hold true with the remaining 3 books.  If 
you want to read specifically about minorities, find yourself a different 
author/series.
