Hello everyone,
I already posted this theory somewhere else, but I think it is as
appropriate here.
I think JKR used another bit of clever misdirection when she explained
where Harry and Ron read the name of Nicholas Flamel before. They
first saw it on the Hogwarts express when Harry found a
Dumbledore-card in his Chocolate Frog.
Very conveniently she makes us forget it also says Dumbledore defeated
the dark wizard Grindelwalt (did I spell that right?).
I think this analogy between Harry and Dumbledore is very important.
Why else would it be Dumbledore guiding Harry into the fight with
Voldie. He defeated a dark wizard himself and probably knows what
Harry has to go through to do it himself.
Possibly the 'scar' that is supposed to be the last word of the 7th
book will belong to Dumbledore. But I admit that last thing is
a long shot.
History repeats itself...Any thoughts on this theory?
