I Don't Know, as it seems rather clear to me in my reading of the text, as
what took place in this part of PoA.  Both Snape and McGonagall seem equally
distressed at what had happened, with the dementor, as both had heard Crouch
Jr'.s confession.  It was meant to be interpreted as written.

It is also riveting listening.  I've read PoA but listened to it three
times.
