As long as he blame well chooses, sadly. The 'blood' situation in the 
books reminds those of us in mixed-race situations of the inescapable 
facts of resentment, prejudice and conflict that seem simply not to 
go away.

The point that we have come to accept, and that people like 
Dumbledore and the Weasleys know, is that the accident of a 
person's/witch's birth means far, far less than the facts of her/his 
life and work.

JKR has depicted the situation nearly perfectly.
