Penny, I agree completely. I know that JKR has the whole thing outlined, but it is painfully obvious in her interviews that she doesn't have the entire story written yet, so has not made the difficult decisions about who must go because of space constraints and who will fill in the plot holes of those characters she cuts. It's sort of interesting seeing that evolution, though, isn't it?
