While I do appreciate the restraint shown by the moderaters, the care
that has been take so as not to offend any party has given rise to my
impression that, in the minds of the moderators, the two actions are
morally or ethically equal. I hope that this was not the intent.
A spontaneous cry for succor is not ethically or morally equivalent to
a considered attack upon the belief system which engendered that cry.
That was a considered act and should be called what it is, not tacitly
approved under a blanket call for restraint.
