Hmm -- there is Dumbledore's blind faith in Hagrid, which, while we
believe in it because we know him, has never been fully explained.
Also -- Hagrid was at school with Voldy for five years, then was
gameskeeper for his remaining two years. He could know a lot about
him. Perhaps Hagrid is one of the 'few' people who know that he is
Tom Riddle, and saved Dumbledore from him long ago (after all -- we
know Voldy is afraid of Dumbledore, but not exactly why. He could
have nearly killed him once, too, with help from Hagrid, perhaps when
he first emerged as Lord Voldemort, or while he was still Tom Riddle.
It seems the young Voldy would want Dumbledore out of the way if he
was to go out into the evilness.)

I think mummy Fridwulfa is going to show up, too -- and since JKR
seems to often point out how different books are than their covers,
(werewolves, muggle-borns....) perhaps she won't be the monster
everyone says she is.
