Work after Hogwarts?

This is my first post so please forgive me if this has been written 
before.  I am wondering if all graduates of Hogwarts work in the 
wizarding world and what kind of job oppurtunities there are.  It 
seems to me that because of the relatively small population of 
magical people that it would be impossible for certain jobs to be 
available or even exist within the community.  For example, there has 
only been one mention that I remember of a restaurant so does that 
mean that it is impossible for witches and wizards to become chefs?  
So what do graduates put on their resumes under education when 
applying for jobs in the Muggle world?  It seems that this would be 
particularly difficult for children from Muggle families.  A similar 
problem is what do they tell nonmagical relatives about where their 
children go to school?  I am having a problem with the idea of how 
feasible it would be to hide such a huge secret from the rest of the 
population.  Of course I realize that it is only a story and does not 
have to be feasible.
