All of you who use this group are doing so pursuant to the Yahoo Terms of
Use policy, located at http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms, which incorporates
by reference the Yahoo Privacy Policy, located at
http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/. When you signed up for the group, you
AGREED to this. The HP4GU Mods do not have control of or access to the Yahoo
servers, where the answers to the polls are logged. The HP4GU mods do not
know the information being collected by the Yahooo servers, OR the
information YOU provided to Yahoo when you joined this group. 

If you're concerned about the recordation to their servers of your answers
to the polls, then you should remember that Yahoo ALREADY knows where you
live. You gave them this information when you signed up, and their servers
record the IP number that you use to access their site, and how long you
spend on any page, and where you were before you came to a Yahoo page, and
where you go next.

As Yahoo has sole server control, HP4GU does not act as an ISP, or in fact
as the actual collector of any information sent to or collected on the
Yahoogroup. Thus, HP4GU has no obligation to be in compliance with the
European Community's privacy regulations, or, in fact, the United States'
Safe Harbour provisions. We presume, but do not know, that Yahoo has taken
these issues into consideration, although they do not state on their Privacy
or TOS policies that they are in compliance with the Safe Harbour provisions
promulgated by the U.S. Department of Commerce. 

If you have any concerns on this issue, we recommend that you get in touch
with Yahoo, as there is nothing that the HP4GU Mods can do. We also
recommend reviewing the YahooGroups HELP feature, which can provide answers
to some of the questions users might have.
