But at this point Harry has never seen an image of his family; so he
has no idea what they'd look like. Did JKR specify that the Erised
Lily had his eyes? I can't remember. Dumbledore told Harry that he
sees his family grouped around him -- not what he imagines as his
family. Also, the auburn hair on his mother -- having no known family
members who has auburn hair, it would be a bit random for Harry to
conjure a redhead mother out of nowhere. If these were just his ideas
of family, wouldn't they be somewhat off, or at least, not dead-on?
