Why would their entrance work any differently than the other house entrances? 
We actually don't know that the heads of house don't set the password for 
their house - notihing in canon makes it impossible to conclude that Prof. 
McG does the one for Gryffindor - but it's equally possible that the prefects 
do it for each house, and it was a slytherin prefect who chose his house's 
password.
