Okay, so I send an email or just "post" a message; either way it goes
to the public bb. I was afraid that with the e-mail I would have
sent a personal e-mail to all 2000+ people on the list! Glad it
doesn't work that way.

I've read on the lexicon the speculation that Voldemort did NOT do
the following in this order as we had previously thought: kill James,
kill Lily, attempt to kill Harry - as that is not the way his wand
emptied. My wife and I picked up on that immediately (hey, didn't
James get killed first? so wouldn't Lily come out first since the
wand empties backwards?) We didn't even think about the curse that
must have hit Harry.

So here's my question: we know Voldemort tried to kill Harry, it
backfired and all but destroyed him. Then Lily was killed and then
James, both with Voldemort's wand though he could not have done it
himself. So who did it? And why in that order? Any speculations?
