some thoughts about the Ghosts

Ok... here is something i have been thinking about
lately...

On Sunday (i wanted to post this before, but i had a few
problems, amongst them a tornado hiting my university
campus yesterday... ), when i was at the catholic mass, the
homily explained the miracle of some saint/priest/monk who
had been dead for a few years and someone saw him. This
lead me to think about the Fat Friar (i'm getting a bit
obsessed with HP, i know). If the Fat Friar was a religious
person, then i doubt that he was a Magical Person. He must
have been a Muggle. Then you have the Bloody Baron and
Nearly Headless Nick, who seem to have been Muggles too (or
at least, don't seem to have had the life a Wizard would -
one being a noble person, and the other one... well, it
doesn't strike me as a wizard). About the Grey Lady, there
is nothing but guesses around, most of which assume that
she is a witch, someone's relative, like Harry's or
Voldemort's. On the other hand, Prof. Binns was a Wizard
who became a ghost.

my question, thougth, whatever, is: does it say anywhere
that Ghosts come from Muggles and Wizards/Witches alike?
Are they only from magical people (therefore, any thoughts
about the Fat Friar being one, and same with Bloody Baron
and NHNick?
Well, i am still thinking about this, but other opinions
would be very welcome!!

Take care
