My comment made someone think? Now, that's something I never expected to
have happen! *grin*

Excellent post! I suppose when I said that JKR could emphasize Harry's
feelings of jealousy for Ron's family, I was kinda reaching. In my mind,
Ron's family is the one thing that Harry doesn't have (although, someone
please correct me if I'm forgetting something!). To see/have his own family
is the thing he most desires, although admittedly, that could've changed
since SS/PS. It's hard to come up with things that Harry would get upset
about that would cause a row between him and Ron and Hermione. Harry is
kinda...complacent? No, that's not the right word...
Let me see, when has Harry gotten really upset/angry?
1)When Aunt Marge insulted his parents.
2)When he found out that Sirius Black was his parents' good friend and
betrayed them.
3)I suppose the Firebolt incident could be included, although I can't recall
how upset Harry actually was.
4)When Ron didn't believe that he hadn't put his name into the Goblet.
Hm, I can't think of anything else but I'm at work, away from my books. I'm
sure others will add to my list!
It seems that family is a touchy point with Harry. Maybe Ron or Hermione
could insult his parents' memory, but I have a hard time seeing either of
them doing that, even in anger. He's also not happy when people don't
believe him (although, honestly, who isn't?).
I suppose the "Farmer In The Dell" theory would work well to put the Trio at
odds. I must admit, I'm not as fond of this ideas as others are.
Someone, help me! What could Hermione or Ron do to plausibly get Harry
really upset?
