No girlfriends for Hermione?

Well, for one thing, we never get to directly see Hermione when she's 
not with Harry. The closest we get to hearing about Hermione talking 
to other girls is when Ginny refuses to tell Harry and Ron about what 
Hermione told her about her Yule Ball date. She's obviously friends 
enough with Ginny to tell her (some) Big Secrets About Boys.

Also, just because one shares a room with someone else does not mean 
both parties must like each other. I had personality conflicts with 
two-thirds of my college roommates, and spent most of my time out of 
my room with two male friends. Just like me and my roommates and 
friends, Hermione probably has a lot more in common with Harry and 
Ron than she does with Parvati and Lavender.
