I believe that JKR will have wizards and house elves develop a
relationship of equals as the books continue. The house elves will
have to overcome their "natural predisposition" to subservience and
learn to enjoy their status as beings rather than creatures
(developing a sense of self, perhaps?) I'd like to know how the
wizard/house elf master/servant relationship started. Then perhaps
we would have a better idea of how (or if) it would end.
In reference to cats, I believe that we have a symbiotic
relationship. At least that's what my cats tell me, and I belive
them.

Depends upon the size and knowledge of the Collective.... ;)
- Denise (who *has* to feed her cats now - or is that *chooses* to
feed her cats now...?)
