Your experience was mine almost *exactly* nearly two years ago, 
Tara.  Then again, I always marched to the beat of a different 
drummer... I don't fit the cookie-cutter mold of an evangelical!

There's also a great book out now.  It's called *What's A Christian 
To Do With Harry Potter?" by Connie Neal.  Might help in explaining 
things to your Christian family and friends who still are wary of the 
books.  

I am starting to think there ought to be an online resource page
(section in the Lexicon?  FAQ?) specifically for conservative 
Christians who are HP fans as well.  I'd love to speak with others 
about this off list.  E-mail me.
