If Hermione does, in fact, become a Prefect, there is great potential
for a temporary rift between her and the boys, like in the Firebolt
incident.

However, to get Harry 'really upset', in my opinion, would take a kind
of betrayal -- or the appearance of such (think Sirius) -- that I
simply cannot imagine from Ron or Hermione.
