I will admit, because of one of my jobs, (working at a
hotel) I am able to read at work and we get EW at
work, so probably about every other day to everyday, I
read the article over and over again, and I have been
thinking about that statement. However, if you
remember in the EW, Robbie Coltrain states that JKR
gives him some hidden secrets about Hagard, so maybe
JKR gave the crew of the film some secrets too, so
maybe they know more than we do about other films and
future books so giving in a bit that will show itself
fully in another movie or book would just be another
way to tease us. I know according to the EW,
Speilberg "supposily" wanted to the movie as all the
movies or had other ideas, but teasing is not doing
book 1-4 as one movie the same thing.

By the way, I'm glad you brought this up, because I've
been doing some soul searching about this myself!!!
