What I meant was when Harry go onto the Knight Bus, Stan didn't
recognise him at all, and Stan belived that Harry was called 'Neville
Longbottom'. If Stan really had attended Hogwarts, then
1. He would already recognise Harry
2. He would have already known Neville Longbottom as someone else if
he saw the sorting of Harry's year.
Of course, this is all just assuming that Stan Shunpike ever even
*went* to Hogwarts. He could have left the year before Harry
attended, or he might have even gone to some wierd school on the
plains of Africa. We just do not know. Sigh.
