Here, and ever at the alert!
Let's just say we've got their cards marked. My personal feeling at the
moment is that the twins are OK, but then I haven't analysed them in the
detail that some others have. I am aware of aspersions being cast in their
direction before and have their names filed in the section marked, 'Ones to
Watch'. Meanwhile, I'd better go back and look up the discussions about the
twins.
BTW, returning to that potentially nefarious amphibian, Trevor, has anyone
ever suggested that his constant efforts to escape may be inspired by a
desperate need to get back to a hen's egg he's trying to hatch?

Back to Snape (wither all roads seem to lead, round here!)

This may be true, but if it is, he keeps his prejudice well-hidden. We know
he doesn't like fools, or those he perceives as such, we know he doesn't
trust werewolves, we know he carries grudges against individuals. But we have
*never* heard him utter a word that suggests he despises someone because of
his/her birth. At the risk of sounding like Hermione, I don't think
Dumbledore would employ someone who was tarred with the muggle-hating brush.
Many other faults he overlooks, but that fundamental ideological difference
would be too much IMHO.

On the subject of Weasley naming schemes (very interesting post Mecki, and so
brave of you to talk like that, my heart goes out to you), just out of
interest, it was only some time after the birth of my third child that
someone asked if it was intentional that they had names beginning A, E, and
I (in that order). In fact it was co-incidence, we'd never noticed. Now I
have to confess that it was in the back of my mind when number 4 came along
and <cringe> she's an 'O', but only because we also really like the name (if
she'd been a boy, she'd have been a 'C'). No, before you ask, the set is
*not* going to be completed.

chasuble and stole adorned with phoenixes, something I've never seen before.)
