Hermione only looked up the wizards this century that are Animagi.
Dumbledore is around 150, so he may have been listed in the previous
century's records.  I think there is a clue to him being an Animagi in SS
when he tells Harry that "I don't need a cloak to become invisible".  I
think about GoF when Rita Skeeter frequently made herself "invisible" to the
people around her by disguising herself as a beetle. Dumbledore is referred
to as "the greatest wizzard of our time", and we know from CoS that he used
to teach transfiguration at Hogwarts. Whth these things in mind, I would be
very suprized if Dumbledore isn't an Anamagi.
