Continuing Education: A Wizarding Option?

The way that I see the situation regarding the presence (or lack 
thereof) of continuing education is based on the reason it is 
present in the Muggle world.  Continuing education in the Muggle 
society is used in order to specialize in very precise areas of 
expertise.  However, there is no need to specialize very much in the 
magical world because everything one needs is readily available by 
means of some spell or potion one can easily learn from a book if 
he/she has not already learned it from Hogwarts or the like.  
Therefore, continuing education in the Muggle world would merely be 
extraneous.  I guess that's all....I might be wrong, but hey, oh 
well.
