I mispelt it, but

Deletrius:

Erases the ghost images of spells revealed
by the Priori Incantatem spell. Possibly
can be used to remove other spell effects as
           well.

Amos Diggory uses the Deletrius spell to erase
the ghost image of the Dark Mark he had
caused to be emitted from Harry's wand
                  (GF9).

I was surpised at its use, myself. I just expected the image to
fade away, like smoke. The images evidently have some
substance more than mere smoke.

Point taken. I doubt the AK alone, whether cast directly or
bouncing off Harry, will kill Voldemort for good. We may
need something else for that. That's why I was looking at
deletrius.

Harry broke out of the Imperius curse. But then, so did both
Crouches, sort of. If we are to believe Crouch/Moody, Voldemort
used the AK on baby Harry, and it bounced. Voldemort thinks
the AK will work on Harry, now. We have no reason to be sure.
We have to wait for Voldemort to catch Harry with his wand
down.
