I'm not entirely convinced his contributions will be for good. We are
not entirely sure if Neville knows exactly how his parents became the
vegetables they are. It has been speculated that his general bumbling
nature is related to a Memory Charm that is meant to shield him from
the worst of the memory of his parents' fate.
I wonder what Neville's reaction will be when he finds out for sure,
if he doesn't know the entire truth now.
My guess is he will be angry, vengeful and full of hate. In other
words, damned easy to manipulate.
Do I believe in Evil!Neville? No, I don't.
But Misguided!Neville?
