How the heck do they work that one out?
I see from the site that they say it's Teutonic. Any comment from our
Germanicists? (It sounds anything but Germanic to me)
I see that they also give the same "eagle heroine" definition to Annabel;
logical as Arabella and Annabel are both variations on Amabel. However, the
site also says that Annabel is *Hebrew*. (I understand it to be Scottish.)
I'm afraid I'm confused at this point. How can related names have both a
Teutonic and a Hebrew origin?>
