The trouble with this is that it's not supported by canon that there are 
bathrooms in the dorms nor is it supported by canon that there are NOT 
bathrooms in the dorms.  But if it is the latter, then what if they have to 
releave themselves in the middle of the night? They certainly couldn't leave 
their dormitiories, otherwise any student prowling the school at night could 
just say they were on their way to the bathroom.
