He could've figured it out on his own.  After all, Dumbledore did. And 
Voldemort's had more time to think on it. At first I thought it might've had 
something to do with Harry telling 16 y/o Tom about it, but there seems to be 
too many flaws in that. Like if that information was passed on to present day 
Voldemort, why couldn't it have been passed on to 'about to try and kill baby 
Harry' Voldemort?  

No...I think he figured out on this own. ^^
