My response:

Sirus Black was there when Hagrid got Harry to bring him to his relatives, the Dursleys. 

Sirus was the owner of the motorcycle Hagrid was on.

Because Sirius was Harry's Godfather and not implicated as of yet, I'm sure Hagrid would have told him where Harry was going at that time if Sirius had not known.

But good idea on Mrs Figg.
