1) I think Arthur and Molly are open-minded enough to accept a muggle-
born witch into the family. Arthur enjoyed spending time with the
Grangers in PoA, and the Weasleys invite Hermione to spend over 2
weeks living with them in GoF. And remember at the end of GoF, what
Molly says to Dumbledore, "We know what Fudge is. It's Arthur's
fondness for Muggles that has held him back at the Ministry all these
years. Fudge thinks he lacks proper wizarding pride." Fudge is a
bigot; Molly and Arthur try not to be. Can they be condescending
sometimes? Yes. Would they be less than thrilled with Hermione in
the family? No.

2) Even if Ron does end up with Hermione, she isn't likely to be the
first muggle-born daughter-in-law of the Weasleys. Remember,
Penelope, Percy's girlfriend, is muggle-born too!

-Jennifer, who thinks Ron will not marry anyone because she's afraid
poor Ron is doomed to die saving Harry.
