My sincere apologies! As I said I'm right in the midst of exams
and therefore have fallen lamentably behind in my post-readings.
Though I register their existence, my understanding of Mercy, Mercy
II and Prince of Lies isn't stable enough to risk mentioning them in
a post. On Saturday I plan a grand past-post feast! Till then... well
I shouldn't be here right now even... But, hey! I'm entitled to a
half-hour break for goodness sake!-- Charis bashes unruly conscience
into place...

You're forgiven! It's my fault for entering this highly-dangerous-for-
your-mental-health chamber in the first place... Other HP musings of
mine have been severely damaged before now...

Point taken. But do L.O.L.L.I.P.O.P.S.& Co have a firmer basis on
Canon? Uh-oh! Am I showing off my apalling lack of information on
recent posts again? Don't throttle me guys! I'll refrain from
expressing opinion on matter till have caught up again.

Aha! The idea has merit! Yes! And is completely consistent with
JKRowling's habit of giving out tit-bits of information about what is
to come to an unsuspecting reader who thinks she is just spicing up a
scene! But does Florence have to be Snape's girlfriend and not
Sirius's? I rather liked the idea of Sirius in love! And would Sirius
really be likely to go after a girl interested in Snape? AND this
messes up my Tragic Element! But, hey! If it works for you, I've no
problem! Your scenario still fits in with the basic
C.U.P.I.D.'S.B.L.U.D.G.E.R. framework. So hop on board if you feel
inclined to!

Charis Julia, who thanks her sturdy tugboat!
