My top favorite has to be the two most un-popular everywhere.  Peter
Pettigrew and Tom "Lord Voldemort Riddle.

I like Peter because he's human.  He's one of the most real characters I
have scene in the books and I like that.  I feel sorry for the guy...he made
a huge mistake and now he has to pay for it eternally.

I like Tom because...well, as I've said before, Power is attractive.  He
fascinates me.  He's so angry against his father's people that it intrigues
me to see if there's anything that will ever incite his mercies.  I know
he's evil and really bad but I still can't help picturing an ending where
he's still around and doesn't die.

As for other favorites, they are, as follows with a short description as to
why.

Lucius and Draco Malfoy, like Tom,  intrigue me.  They have so much
potential to go either way.  Alright, Lucius is most likely stuck on the
Dark side but there's always a slim chance he could switch...right?.
Neville Long bottom is a sweetie that I can't help but like.  A little
bumbling but still. He's sweet and sensitive and his tale is so heart
breaking.  Seamus Finnigan is my little leprechaun.  I don't know why but
for a little known character he's grown on me.  I actually scan every
mention of Gryffindors to find him.  Another character like that is Justin
FF.  He's like every new kid you've ever known.  Scared, worried about how
others will accept him.  So when he first meets the Famous Harry Potter he
rambles on and on.  I felt worse for Justin in CoS then I did Harry.  And of
course, last but not least in my favorite characters is Percy Weasley.
Percy was the image of me in school, bookish and bossy, always looking out
for the younger students to the effect they wanted to strangle me.  I may
have never made his grades but it wasn't for lack of trying.  I was also a
complete and stuffy snob from the age of 14 to 17 and no one could stand me
so there you go.  I also wanted to be president once upon a time and we all
know Percy's secret ambition. :o)
