  There is a set of tapes/cd's for all of the german books - i have a 
  copy of the PS one.  I like the narrator a LOT better than Dale, 
  haven't heard Fry...now if only I knew my German well enough to not 
  be running solely on general idea and actually understanding 
  everything...

  weekend but also wanted to throw in his two sickels for the 
  LANDLUBBERS.


As jc has decamped leaving some of us (who speak rusty but just about sufficient German) without any idea of who to contact or where to begin our hunt for another narrator for my collection, can someone else help locate the foreign language HP cd/tapes?  I am presently scouting about for a sample of the Dale tapes - fascinated as I am to hear the canon read by as many different people as I can.  An idea of the narrator's identity might be helpful to, I have a German colleague at work who would be keen to hear about it and could proably shed light on the WHO narrating the book.
