Could the Stone have been Not Destroyed?

I was actually musing on a book 5 prediction that
Dumbledore could be evil. Enough of the gleam of
triumph in the eye evidence...
Remember that it was from Dumbledore that we knew that
the Philosopher's Stone was destroyed, not from the
narrator. We could never really tell if he never tells
a lie. What if he just kept the stone for himself? The
Quirrell incident is a perfect cover up and alibi for
his 'having destroyed the stone'. Well, we never
really knew if it was destroyed or not, but what if it
really wasn't? Could Dumbledore possible (not
necessarily likely) be evil? Besides the gleam in the
eye has somebody spotted something else against his
un-evilness?
