Just referreed a bizarre argument between 11yo niece and 13 yo
nephew. Nephew is a Draco fan and goes as far as shipping Draco and
Hermione because he saqys Draco warned Hermione at the World Cup.

As I remember it, Draco warned Harmione to "Watch out if you don't
want everyone to see your knickers!"

It's too far a stretch to think Draco has feelings for Hermione
especially with his treatment of her in Ch0fS "Mudbloods and Muggle-
lovers first!"

In the Aftermath of GofF, though, LV has returned and when last we
saw Malfoy, Goyle, and Crabbe they were unconscious and sprouting
mushrooms from picking a fight with HRH and F&G.

My Nephew, who refuses to believe that Draco is evil, thinks he will
reform when confronted by the true evil of Voldemort.

Interesting concept. Consider that Little Draco has probably been
indoctrinated with LV propaganda from Lucius from an eatly age(as has
C&G). Draco seems the most intelligent of the three, but can anyone
make a case for redemption?

He would need courage to stand up to his father, and has shown little
of it before. Remember his panicking and running away in the Forest
in book 1?

Can anyone make a case supporting him? With the rumormill spouting
that a major character wil crack ala Frodo, my vote would be for
Draco. If he did stand up for the right, he would lose his family
wealth and status.
