Mrs. Norris and the name "Argus"

Just wanted to mention that I recently read that Argus in Greek 
Mythology not only had 100 eyes, but was set to guard Io, after her 
lover Zeus *turned her into a cow (!)* to save her from Hera's 
wrath.  Get it ? Of course, then poor Argus gets killed by Hermes and 
his eyes put on a peacock tail, so I don't know how far this analogy 
might lead...Hermes = Hermione? also didnt Percy have an owl named 
Hermes? but I can't quite picture either one killing Filch.
