It is a cliché to have a pale faced, interesting, pissed off/depressed 
character who dresses all in black to be revealed as a vampire. Personally, 
I find the idea interesting - but unless it was done very well, to me in 
would smack of being a gimmick, and would, in turn, cheapen the character 
of Snape.
