Marauders learning animagi - teachers?

I suspect all the Marauders would've learned the antispell as a safety
precaution, so that if one of them did turn into fish or something,
the others could turn him back.

I don't think any of the Marauders would've had much problem with
breaking rules.  Besides, they were already breaking a much bigger
rule by becoming unregistered animagi in the first place.  Compared to
that, poking around in the Restricted Section is peanuts.

Besides, we're talking about a bunch of adolescent boys taking up
animagic in order to have exciting secret adventures together. 
There's no way they would've involved anybody's *parents* in the
undertaking.  That would get grown-up cooties all over it and take all
the fun out. <G>
