A hit, a hit. I do confess it. Neville was not tortured, it seems. All
right, I'll retreat to fourth man Avery with remorse interfering and
protecting Neville. :-)

I had made a large list, then the computer crashed. So, then I
wandered about the web to see if anyone agreed with me, and spent the
next half hour reading excerpts from Percy angst fan-fics that had me
laughing so hard I began to cry. And then once you've started crying
you start really to cry. And then you start laughing at yourself. But,
heaven help us, these fanfic writers really want to load Percy with
problems, don't they?

A few positive Percy moments.

1. "A genius, but mad yes." A certified joke.
2. The bet with Penny. More a Fred and George thing, if you think
about it.
3. Rushing off to fight that mob in GoF and coming back with the
bloodied nose.
4. Concern for Ginny in CoS.
5. His reaction after Penny is petrified.
6. His boasting of Ron at the end of SS/PS.
7. Rushing out to Ron at the end of the Second Task.

These are the ones that spring to mind, but as I mentioned, I lost my
complete list with commentary, and all this Percy angst has befuddled
me.

Eileen, off to find a non-angsty Percy fanfic
