I think they will definitely be in there. Dumbledore eludes to this 
at the end of GOF, I don't remember the exact quotes but he does say 
that everyone is in this together, and they must be united. So he 
sends various people on "quests" to gain allies. So yeah, the 
conflict becomes more global and the other schools will be involved.

Plus, the rumor mill has it that the auther is planning to send 
Harry "where he has never been before." There is a lot of speculation 
on what that means, so perhaps it's another school or some other part 
of hte world.
