Let us add to the mix the fact that Mrs. Malfoy was off buying DM's wand 
while he was being fitted for his robes.

Dare we ask about the physical ramifications or the implications to be drawn 
that his Mommy had to slect his wand?  Freudians to the right and Jungians to 
the left.
