Could JKR be basing the Aurors after the SAS that
England employed to "keep the peace" in Northern
Ireland, who were also given a liscence to kill? 
Currently, I'm taking Irish history at college, and
some of the parallels between the two groups are a
little unnerving.  Anyone think the same, or want to
refute this thinking?
