New Minister of Magic?

Hello, all. As I am a newbie here, I would first like to take a 
moment to add the typical First Post Preface:

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but as we all know, the 
archive is expansive. Just lemme know if this is old news to you guys.

Now on to the post!!

With all this discussion about Fudge and his ineptitude recently, has 
anyone ever thought about the possibility that by the end of the 
series the Ministry will be looking for a new minister? I think 
there's a very good chance of it. But who could it be? Personally, I 
find Dumbledore to be the most qualified and though it'll be offered 
to him a second time he'll turn it down yet again (after Voldie's 
second and most likely final defeat I think he'll claim to be just 
plain too old... Dumbledore's retirement party?) So does anyone have 
any idea's as to who could take over? I was going through my head 
some of the adults we already know (Lupin, Arthur, Sirius, etc) but 
couldn't decide. I also considered McGonagall, but I think she may 
end up as Headmistress of Hogwarts if Dumbledore does retire.

Oh, and as to Fudge being evil... I don't think so. I agree with 
those that say he's a good politian but very short sighted.
